About Me
- Brian Many Wheels
- well, I am a 70 year old married man with a couple of sons and 4 grand kids and am currently wending my way around the planet in any way that I find interests me. I am a retired mechanic, certified motorcycle nut, ride a sidecar rig and practice living in the moment. I am a 31 year friend of Bill and Bob and have lived a life beyond my wildest dreams.
That really looks awesome Bri!!!
ReplyDeleteholy sh!t, astroman! that looks positively huge in there! so spacious and organized, unlike the rondyvan that looks a wreck at the moment. have you slept in it yet? does it feel huge? what size propane tank do you use, and where is it? oh, i wanna go camping, dude.
ReplyDeleteNice Bri. You've made some nice improvements. I like all of your storage options and your new bed platform.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great, Bri! Really comfortable and efficient, too. I'm really interested in Dina's review of your renovations. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Heidi.....I think it will more suit my 'real' needs.
ReplyDeleteKatie, STOP IT! Rondyvan is my idol for spare and organized! :^) I am still just copying you!
No sleeping in it yet but the mattress is exactly the same one from the floor. The bed platform is 2" wider and in all but one place, the foot end, it is an 1" to 2" away from the wall. That will give me even more moving around room than I had before. I have sat in it for some time and enjoyed the ability to sit on the "couch", use the table and not have t crawl around on the floor as well as just lie down and read or nap so much easier....It does feel much larger but less than you have since you have the extra couple of feet length. I must admit the higher roof is still the absolute must for me....I really love it and it gives the feeling of more room just like a cathedral ceiling in a house makes the floorplan seem larger....
Looks really nice, Bri. I love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Charlene.....It feels so much better...
ReplyDeleteLooks so organized! Did you replace your passenger seat with something else or is that the original seat turned around?
ReplyDeleteHi Melissa....it is tough to keep it organized while using it though....
ReplyDeleteIt is the original conversion passenger captain's chair just turned around on the pedestal. Heidi did that when I was visiting her and Mike in Port Angeles, WA the first time...she waded right in with a wrench like a pro mechanic and did it in minutes...
ha...yay Heidi! i bet you are still more organized than in a big space. small spaces demand neatness!
ReplyDeletei was surprised that mine doesn't turn. i'll have to turn mine around too! always learning from ya'll!
If your seat is like mine you can look or feel up under it, on the underside of the actual seat bottom and you will find four studs with 7/16" nuts. just remove those, turn the seat around and replace the nuts, tighten and you are home free. I took the headrest off to better see the right side sideview mirror. Dina Dog lives in the seat when we travel. Rides in it and sleeps in it at night.
ReplyDeleteYou are right about needing to keep organized in a small space....I like that I can just about reach anything from one place....cozy!
